SFF resolution

Parent Previous Next

When saving a fax into SFF (Structured Fax File) format, Modified Huffman compression is always used.

You can use Convert to standard resolution (203*196 dpi) graphics option when saving SFF files originally created with resolution 203*98 dpi. This can be useful with some SFF viewers.

To do additional settings, follow the instructions below:

1.     Open your Log Book.

2.     In the Log Book, open the Received Faxes folder or Sent Faxes folder.

3.     In the details pane, right-click the fax, and then click Save As.

4.     In the Save As... dialog, in the Save as type: field, select Structured Fax File(*.SFF) as the format to which you want to convert the document. Then specify a file name (by default the unique file name generated by the program is used).

5.     Click Settings button.

6.     In the SFF properties dialog, check Convert to standard resolution (203x196 dpi) graphics option if you want to save your SFF in the 203x196 dpi resolution.

7.     Click OK to save settings.

8.     When you make all necessary settings, in the Save As... dialog, click Save button.
