Saving a fax in a graphics format stands for converting one or several fax pages from TIFF, PDF or SFF format to one of the common graphics formats (TIFF, PDF, SFF, BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG and PCX).
To convert a fax into another format:
1. Open your Log Book.
2. In the Log Book, open the Received Faxes folder or Sent Faxes folder.
3. In the details pane, right-click the fax, and then click Save As.
4. In the Save As... dialog select the format to which you want to convert the document. Then specify a file name (by default the unique file name generated by the program is used).
5. If the fax document contains multiple pages, you can indicate which pages to convert. If several pages were selected for converting into a format which does not support multi-page documents (BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG or PCX), then several files will be created as a result, with names containing the numbers of corresponding source pages. When saving a multi-page fax message in the TIFF, PDF or SFF format, users can also save it as several single-page files. To do that, flag the Split into pages option in the Save As... dialog.
6. Some viewers may incorrectly display TIFF files in draft quality (204*98 dpi). You can convert such fax messages to the standard resolution (204*196 dpi). To do that, press the Settings button in the Save As... dialog and check the Convert to standard resolution graphics option. A similar option is also available when saving faxes into SFF (Structured Fax File) format.
7. When you make all necessary settings, click Save button.
