Monitoring and notifying

When sending or receiving a fax or audio message, the information about fax / audio message progress can be viewed in the Fax Voip T.38 Console.

Notifications are used to indicate the success or failure of faxes (audio messages) been received or been sent. To enable or disable notifications, see in the Tray Notifications chapter of this user manual.

Incoming fax notifications

In the case of a successful fax reception, the New fax received tray notification message is displayed. Clicking on the notification opens the Inbox folder in the Fax Voip T.38 Console, where you can view a received fax.

If the fax reception failed, the Failed to receive a fax tray notification message is displayed. Clicking on the notification opens the Inbox folder in the Fax Voip T.38 Console, where you can view more information about the fax.

Outgoing fax notifications

In the case of a successful fax transmission, The fax was sent successfully tray notification message is displayed. Clicking on the notification opens the Outbox folder in the Fax Voip T.38 Console, where you can view more information about the fax.

If the fax transmission failed, The fax could not be sent tray notification message is displayed. Clicking on the notification opens the Outbox folder in the Fax Voip T.38 Console, where you can view more information about the fax.

Outgoing audio message notifications

In the case of a successful transmission of audio message, The audio message was sent successfully tray notification message is displayed. Clicking on the notification opens the Outbox folder in the Fax Voip T.38 Console, where you can view more information about the audio message.

If the audio message transmission failed, The audio message could not be sent tray notification message is displayed. Clicking on the notification opens the Outbox folder in the Fax Voip T.38 Console, where you can view more information about the audio message.

Fax-on-Demand notifications

These notifications are similar to Outgoing Fax Notifications. Clicking on the notification opens the Fax-on-Demand folder in the Fax Voip T.38 Console, where you can view more information about the fax.

Notes

• Using notifications is useful when working with a small amount of faxes (audio messages) on the user's computer. On the other hand, we recommend to disable notifications when working with a large number of faxes (audio messages) on the server.
