When receiving faxes using Microsoft Fax* application (via Fax Voip Virtual COM Ports), you can configure Store in a folder Incoming Routing Method to copy incoming faxes to specified local or network folders. Depending on the Caller Number (Caller ID) and Called Number (DID), incoming fax can be routed to different folders.
The behavior is defined by the so-called rules. Fax Voip T.38 Modem always checks Store in a folder rules, starting with the rule # 1. The fax will be routed according to the first rule, which satisfies the conditions of the call. All other rules are ignored. For example, if rule # 1 applies for all incoming calls ('Caller ID' = .*; 'Called Number' = .*), then other rules # 2, # 3, etc. applied to incoming calls never be able to work under any conditions.
Every rule can be enabled or disabled. If the rule is disabled, Fax Voip T.38 Modem takes this rule into account (as in the case of enabled) but does not copy faxes to the specified folders. This can be used to temporarily disable store in a folder procedure for specified Caller (or Called) numbers.
To store an incoming fax in the specified folder, you must:
Incoming fax can be routed to one or more local or network folders. The format for saving incoming faxes can be TIFF, PDF or SFF.
