Fax Voip Driver for Virtual COM ports
When this option selected, Fax Voip T.38 Modem operates via Fax Voip Virtual COM Ports.
Use 3 rd Party COM Ports Driver
When this option selected, Fax Voip T.38 Modem operates via 3 rd party Virtual COM Ports. For example, Eltima Virtual Serial Port Driver or Eterlogic.com Virtual Serial Ports Emulator can be used.
<Add/Remove>
Use this button to Add/Remove Fax Voip T.38 Modem lines based on the Fax Voip Virtual COM Ports Driver. To change Virtual COM Ports configuration, administrator privileges are required.
<Modems>
Use this button to view, add or remove modems, attached to Fax Voip Virtual COM Ports. Fax Voip T.38 Modem installs Fax Voip 14.4K TAPI Voice-Fax Modem driver for modems. Compared with the standard modem driver, this driver provides support for Caller ID Number and Caller ID Name. Voice Commands are supported by the Fax Voip modem driver via TAPI and not only in the passthrough mode. To add modems using Phone and Modems option in the Windows Control Panel not recommended. To change modems configuration, administrator privileges are required.

3 rd party Driver for Virtual COM ports
As an alternative, is allowed to use Virtual COM Ports drivers developed by other manufacturers. The Select COM ports connected to Fax Voip modems directly panel shows all the COM ports available on your system (both physical and virtual). Fax Voip T.38 Modem does not impose any restrictions on the use of third-party Virtual COM Port drivers. Thus it is impossible to know programmatically whether the port is virtual or physical and which ports are virtual pair. The exceptions are the Fax Voip Virtual COM Ports created by the native Fax Voip driver. Fax Voip Virtual COM Ports are not shown in this panel in the Use 3rd Party Drivers for Virtual COM Ports mode. You should be extremely careful during ports selection.
