In the case of outgoing VoIP calls, if T.38 re-invite is received from the other side, Fax Voip T.38 Console switches to T.38 and sends T.38 fax. If T.38 re-invite not received, Fax Voip T.38 Console trying to switch to the audio fax mode (G711 fax).
In the case of incoming calls, Fax Voip T.38 Console will start in the mode of receiving T.38 fax (sends T.38 re-invite to the other side). If the other party answers 'not supported', Fax Voip T.38 Console switches to G711 fax and receives the fax as audio.
In the case of incoming calls, this mode is applyed automatically when you select Receive Faxes with T.38 support in the Incoming VOIP Call Routing rule.
To apply this mode to outgoing calls do the following:
1. Open Fax Voip T.38 Console Control Panel.
2. Click VOIP in TreeView, then click Outgoing Plan.
3. To create new rule click New. To edit an existing rule select it and click Edit (or double-click the selected rule).
4. In the VOIP Outgoing Call Routing Rule window, on the General page select If to send a fax with T.38 support (VOIP) option.
5. Switch to the Fax panel.
6. In the Fax Support section, uncheck Send T.38 re-invite option.
7. Click <OK> button to fix changes.
8. Click <Apply> button to save modified settings for rules. Do not forget to restart Fax Voip T.38 Console to operate with new settings.
