As a result of failed experiments with various types of e-mail attachments you may encounter situations when the e-mails are no longer accepted by Fax Voip FSP and the Mail to Fax function does not work (it is assumed that your POP3 / IMAP Settings are correct). When this happens, an increased CPU usage may be displayed.
Examine the Mail to Fax log
1. Follow the instructions in the To view Mail to Fax log chapter to enable logging.
2. In the Fax Voip FSP Control Panel, click E-mail in TreeView. Click <STOP> and then <START> to restart Mail to Fax subsystem (Fax Voip FSP Mail service).
3. Wait at least 5 minutes. The internal timeout of FaxDocument.ConnectedSubmit and FaxDocument.ConnectedSubmit2 methods (Fax Service API) is 5 minutes and this can not be easily fixed in our application. The Mail to Fax subsystem can return 'The wait operation timed out' after 5 minutes of waiting, during which the Mail to Fax subsystem hangs. This will be reflected in the log file and you will be able to fix the problem by blocking the bad file extension which caused an error, see in the E-mail attachments chapter of this user manual.
4. Click Options in TreeView, then click E-mail Logs. To view the log, click <View> button near the Enable Mail to Fax debug logging checkbox.
5. Examine the log file and try to fix the problem. You can also send the log file to our support team by e-mail.
Try to disable "Run Mail to Fax... as Windows Service"

2. Click E-mail in TreeView. Select Run Mail to Fax system as application option.
3. Click <Apply>. Make sure that Mail to Fax subsystem is started.
4. See if the problem has disappeared. Examine the log file.
