On this page you can specify default settings for native e-mail delivery receipts that will be used when sending a fax using Sendfax.exe command line utility.
Native E-mail Delivery Receipts are part of Windows Fax Service software and only available in Windows Server OS (e.g. Windows Server 2022). This functionality does not support SSL when sending e-mails. Alternatively, you can specify an e-mail address in the Sender Information Settings, and it can then be processed by Mail to Fax function (e-mail receipts to the specified address). You can also use the E-mail Delivery Receipts Outgoing Fax Routing Method from the Fax Voip FSP package.
The options below can be overridden by the following command line options: /EmailReceiptMS, /ReceiptAddressMS, /GroupReceiptMS and /ReceiptAttachFaxMS, see in the SendFax.exe command line options and E-mail Receipts - native (SendFax.exe options) chapters of this user manual.
Do not send e-mail delivery receipts when using SendFax.exe tool
Select this option to disable delivery receipts. Can be overridden by the /EmailReceiptMS command line option.
Send e-mail delivery receipts when using SendFax.exe tool
Select this option to send a delivery report through SMTP mail. Can be overridden by the /EmailReceiptMS command line option.
E-mail To:
The e-mail address to which the fax service should send a delivery receipt when the fax job reaches a final state, that is, when the fax has been successfully sent or when the transmission fails. Can be overridden by the /ReceiptAddressMS command line option.
<Address Book>
Click to select e-mail recipient from Address Book (Windows Contacts).
Use one receipt for delivery to multiple recipients
Indicates whether to send an individual delivery receipt for each recipient of the broadcast, or to send a summary receipt for all the recipients. If this box is not checked, an individual delivery receipt will be sent for each recipient of the broadcast. Can be overridden by the /GroupReceiptMS command line option.
Attach a copy of the sent fax
Check this box to attach a fax (TIFF file) to the receipt. When a fax is sent to multiple recipients and Use one receipt for delivery to multiple recipients option is specified, the fax usually cannot be attached to the receipt because the fax differs for each recipient. Can be overridden by the /ReceiptAttachFaxMS command line option.
<Configure SMTP>
Click to configure SMTP Settings (Windows Fax Service). Administrator privileges are required.
