With Venta Fax & Voice you can send and receive Color Faxes over VoIP and ISDN via Fax Voip Virtual COM Ports (modems). You can send and receive color faxes in both T.38 and audio (fax over G.711 codec) fax modes. In order to successfully send and receive color faxes the following requirements should be met:
- Color faxes are always sent and received with ECM (Error Correction Mode) enabled. Fax Voip T.38 Modem should be also configured with ECM enabled.
- Color faxes are always sent and received in Fine Resolution (204*196 dpi).
- Errors within the data being transmitted are not allowed. The quality of VoIP termination should be enough good, especially when transferring color faxes in audio mode (fax over G.711 codec).
- To be able to send color faxes, you need to make the appropriate settings for the VentaFax printer and Venta Fax program.
- The other party must have hardware or software installed that allows the sending and receiving of color faxes.
