Receiving Caller ID and DID

Caller ID function is supported with Fax Voip FSP software by default. Additional settings are not required. In Windows Fax and Scan, Caller ID Number is displayed in the Fax Monitor at the time of incoming call. See also in the Monitoring and notifying chapter.

In Windows Fax and Scan, Caller ID Number is stored in the Caller ID field. Fax Voip FSP stores the Called Number (DID) in the Routing Information field. This is used by the Incoming Fax Routing Methods and also can be used by software developers when accessing incoming faxes through the Fax Service API functions.

Notes

• Sending correct Caller ID Number is not always possible via VoIP Service Provider network.
• In Windows Fax and Scan, displaying of the Caller ID Name at the time of incoming call is not supported.
