Removing the previous version

Fax Voip T.38 Console setup program automatically checks whether Fax Voip T.38 Console or older version of Fax Voip (Fax Voip T38 Fax & Voice version 8 or earlier) is already installed and what version is installed, and offers to remove Fax Voip T.38 Console (Fax Voip T38 Fax & Voice) before starting of new installation. No need to separately run standard uninstall procedures.

To keep the previous Fax Voip T.38 Console settings and files created in program operations, follow the instructions provided in the Removing the Software chapter of this user manual. If you suspect that your configuration is corrupted for some reasons, you should delete the previous settings. Alternatively, prior to the removal or reinstallation, you can run the Fax Voip T.38 Console Backup or Restore Wizard that allows you to save and then restore your settings and files.

When upgrading from Fax Voip T38 Fax & Voice version 8.3.1 or earlier, the previous settings and files are imported automatically and without confirmations if you install the Fax Voip T.38 Console for the first time. If for some reason you need to repeat the procedure, you can remove the Upgrade9 (REG_DWORD) parameter from the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\FaxVoip\T38Console key in Windows registry, and then restart the Fax Voip T.38 Console setup program.

To save your old configuration (Fax Voip T38 Fax & Voice version 8 or earlier), run the Fax Voip Backup or Restore Wizard (included in Fax Voip T38 Fax & Voice version 8 or earlier) before removal the old version.
