As a result of failed experiments with various types of e-mail attachments you may encounter situations when the e-mails are no longer accepted by Fax Voip T.38 Console and the Mail to Fax function does not work (it is assumed that all POP3 / IMAP Settings are correct). When this happens, an increased CPU usage may be displayed.
Examine the Mail to Fax (Mail to Audio) log
1. Follow the instructions in the To view Mail to Fax (Mail to Audio) log chapter to enable logging.
2. In the Fax Voip T.38 Console Control Panel, click <STOP> and then <START> to restart Mail to Fax (Mail to Audio) subsystem (Fax Voip T.38 Console Mail service).
3. Wait at least 30 seconds. 'Printing... Failed. Timeout expired.' may be returned after 30 seconds of waiting (internal timeout), during which the Mail to Fax (Mail to Audio) subsystem hangs. This will be reflected in the log file and you will be able to fix the problem by blocking the bad file extension which caused an error, see in the E-mail attachments chapter of this user manual.
4. Click Options in TreeView, then click E-mail Logs. To view the log, click <View> button near the Enable Mail to Fax (Mail to Audio) debug logging checkbox.
5. Examine the log file and try to fix the problem. You can also send the log file to our support team by e-mail.
