To configure Remote Access to Voice & Fax Mailbox

Remote Access to Mailbox allows the user to dial in from a remote location in order to check for received voice and fax messages. The user can manage fax-voice mailbox remotely via DTMF tones. DTMF Detection function is supported by Fax Voip T.38 Modem. FaxTalk Messenger Pro provides a wide range of remote management functions: you can listen to and manage voice messages, overwrite Answering Machine Greeting remotely, listen to information about the faxes in your mailbox, etc. To enable Remote Access to Mailbox function, do the following:


1.     In the main FaxTalk Messenger Pro window in menu select Tools, and then click Options.

2.     In the FaxTalk Messenger Pro Settings window in the configuration list on the left, click Voice Messaging. On the Voice Messaging configuration page, select the Mailbox (Main Mailbox 1), and then click <Properties> button.



3.     In the Main Mailbox Properties configuration panel in the Remote access settings section check This mailbox can be accessed remotely option.



4.     Enter the Access Code to mailbox in the Password for remote access is: field, if need.

5.     Click <OK> button.
