When configuring the outgoing ISDN CAPI 2.0 calls from Fax Voip T.38 Modem the following should be taken into account:



To configure Default Username do the following:


1.     Open Fax Voip T.38 Modem Control Panel.

2.     Click VOIP in TreeView.



3.     In the Default Username field enter your phone number (will be transmitted as Caller ID Number).

4.     Click <Apply> button to save modified settings. Do not forget to restart Fax Voip T.38 Modem to operate with new settings. To do this click <STOP> button, then click <START> button.


The Default Username can be overridden by the ISDN Username (number).


To specify the ISDN Username (number) different from the Default Username do the following:


1.     Open Fax Voip T.38 Modem Control Panel.

2.     Click VOIP in TreeView, then click ISDN CAPI 2.0.



3.     Uncheck Use Default Username option.

4.     In the ISDN Username (number) field enter your phone number (will be transmitted as Caller ID Number).

5.     Click <Apply> button to save modified settings. Do not forget to restart Fax Voip T.38 Modem to operate with new settings. To do this click <STOP> button, then click <START> button.


The ISDN Username (number) can be overridden by the Outgoing VOIP Call Routing settings.


To override the ISDN Username (number) in the Outgoing VOIP Call Routing rule do the following:


1.     Open Fax Voip T.38 Modem Control Panel.

2.     Click VOIP in TreeView, then click Outgoing Plan.

3.     To edit an existing rule select it and click Edit (or double-click the selected rule).

4.     In the VOIP Outgoing Call Routing Rule window, on the General page, in the Username field enter your phone number (will be transmitted as Caller ID Number). The Use Default option should be unchecked to be possible to change Username.



5.     Click <OK> button to fix changes.

6.     Click <Apply> button to save modified settings for Outgoing VOIP Call Routing. Do not forget to restart Fax Voip T.38 Modem to operate with new settings. To do this click <STOP> button, then click <START> button.
